Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.08%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals , Forestry & Paper and Holding Companies sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.08%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stroc Industrie (CS: STR ), which rose 7.69% or 2.00 points to trade at 28.00 at the close. Disway SA (CS: DWY ) added 6.54% or 22.90 points to end at 372.90 and Hps (CS: HPS ) was up 4.14% or 87.00 points to 2187.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included BMCI (CS: BMCI ), which lost 8.58% or 66 points to trade at 703 in late trade. Snep (CS: SNP ) declined 3.53% or 19.00 points to end at 520.00 and Med Paper (CS: PAP ) shed 2.95% or 0.59 points to 19.41.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 11 and 14 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.28% or 0.20 to $71.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.54% or 0.43 to hit $79.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.00 to trade at $1223.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.11% to 10.9210, while USD/MAD rose 0.23% to 9.4520.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 94.91.
