Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.10%
Credit: © Reuters. – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper , Holding Companies and Food Producers & Processors sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.10%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Aluminum mar 1l (CS: ALU ), which rose 3.27% or 48 points to trade at 1515 at the close. Saham Assurance (CS: SAH ) added 2.67% or 39 points to end at 1500 and Risma (CS: RIS ) was up 2.55% or 4.00 points to 161.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Med Paper (CS: PAP ), which lost 9.98% or 3.25 points to trade at 29.31 in late trade. Lesieur Cristal (CS: LESU ) declined 4.82% or 8.50 points to end at 168.00 and Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS: SNA ) shed 4.17% or 0.81 points to 18.63.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 17 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.11% or 1.31 to $63.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.85% or 1.22 to hit $67.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 7.10 to trade at $1310.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.24% to 11.2860, while USD/MAD rose 0.42% to 9.2063.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 89.93.
