Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.11%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper , Transport and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.11%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Douja Prom Addoha (CS: ADH ), which rose 4.17% or 0.96 points to trade at 24.00 at the close. BMCI (CS: BMCI ) added 4.02% or 38 points to end at 970 and Alliances (CS: ADI ) was up 3.40% or 5 points to 152 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Zellidja S.A (CS: ZELI ), which lost 6.00% or 7.50 points to trade at 117.55 in late trade. Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS: NKL ) declined 4.15% or 1.99 points to end at 46.00 and S2M (CS: S2M ) shed 3.72% or 11.00 points to 285.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 26 to 11 and 8 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.01% or 1.34 to $67.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.75% or 1.25 to hit $72.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.30 to trade at $1354.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.00% to 11.3430, while USD/MAD fell 0.11% to 9.1565.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 89.27.
