Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.14%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance , Software & Computer Services and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.14%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Med Paper (CS: PAP ), which rose 9.98% or 2.92 points to trade at 32.17 at the close. Total Maroc SA (CS: TMA ) added 2.96% or 54.0 points to end at 1879.0 and Delta Holding S.A (CS: DHO ) was up 2.48% or 0.80 points to 33.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included CDM (CS: CDM ), which lost 5.17% or 30 points to trade at 550 in late trade. Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS: NKL ) declined 5.15% or 2.77 points to end at 51.00 and Saham Assurance (CS: SAH ) shed 4.16% or 64 points to 1476.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 18 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.43% or 0.24 to $56.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $62.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.90 to trade at $1282.20 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.03% to 11.1020, while USD/MAD fell 0.14% to 9.4472.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 93.91.
