Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.15%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Transport , Food Producers & Processors and Mining sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.15%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were S2M (CS: S2M ), which rose 7.55% or 20.00 points to trade at 285.00 at the close. Micro Data SA (CS: MIC ) added 7.20% or 19.30 points to end at 287.50 and Med Paper (CS: PAP ) was up 5.26% or 1.10 points to 22.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included SMI (CS: SMI ), which lost 5.63% or 103 points to trade at 1727 in late trade. Miniere Touissit (CS: CMT ) declined 5.11% or 80 points to end at 1485 and Cosumar (CS: CSMR ) shed 2.53% or 4 points to 174.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.72% or 1.17 to $69.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.74% or 1.30 to hit $76.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 19.30 to trade at $1213.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.28% to 10.9670, while USD/MAD fell 0.38% to 9.4385.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 95.02.
