Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.21%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Transport , Telecoms and Invest Companies & Other Finance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.21%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Risma (CS: RIS ), which rose 5.50% or 9.90 points to trade at 190.00 at the close. CDM (CS: CDM ) added 5.45% or 30 points to end at 580 and Label Vie (CS: LBV ) was up 4.95% or 99 points to 2098 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Zellidja S.A (CS: ZELI ), which lost 5.98% or 7.05 points to trade at 110.85 in late trade. Unimer (CS: UMR ) declined 5.56% or 9.90 points to end at 168.00 and Salafin (CS: SLF ) shed 3.90% or 41 points to 1009.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 18 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.04% or 0.03 to $67.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.25% or 0.18 to hit $72.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.50 to trade at $1305.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.37% to 11.1890, while USD/MAD rose 0.10% to 9.3490.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 92.48.
