Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.27%
Credit: © Reuters. – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance , Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure and Invest Companies & Other Finance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.27%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Lydec (CS: LYD ), which rose 3.08% or 18.50 points to trade at 619.90 at the close. Med Paper (CS: PAP ) added 2.30% or 0.63 points to end at 27.98 and CIH (CS: CIH ) was up 2.26% or 6.90 points to 311.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saham Assurance (CS: SAH ), which lost 7.17% or 114 points to trade at 1475 in late trade. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS: SNA ) declined 6.47% or 1.28 points to end at 18.51 and Eqdom (CS: EQDM ) shed 5.92% or 77 points to 1223.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 28 to 12 and 3 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.42% or 0.88 to $61.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.13% or 0.74 to hit $64.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.40 to trade at $1318.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.02% to 11.3230, while USD/MAD fell 0.08% to 9.1923.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 90.01.
