Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.34%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate , Utilities and Mining sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.34%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Lesieur Cristal (CS: LESU ), which rose 5.40% or 7.65 points to trade at 149.35 at the close. Med Paper (CS: PAP ) added 4.90% or 0.98 points to end at 20.99 and Label Vie (CS: LBV ) was up 3.24% or 60 points to 1910 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Sonasid (CS: SOND ), which lost 6.76% or 37 points to trade at 509 in late trade. Taslif (CS: TSF1 ) declined 5.80% or 1.45 points to end at 23.55 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS: SRM ) shed 5.34% or 12.85 points to 228.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 26 to 12 and 9 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.22% or 0.85 to $70.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.32% or 0.25 to hit $79.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.40 to trade at $1208.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.02% to 10.9720, while USD/MAD fell 0.11% to 9.3897.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.09.
