Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.55%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services , Forestry & Paper and Beverage sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.55% to hit a new 3-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Residences Dar Saada SA (CS: RDS ), which rose 2.12% or 2.50 points to trade at 120.50 at the close. Bmce Bank (CS: BMCE ) added 1.89% or 3.90 points to end at 209.90 and Douja Prom Addoha (CS: ADH ) was up 1.43% or 0.30 points to 21.30 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Hps (CS: HPS ), which lost 6.01% or 117.00 points to trade at 1830.00 in late trade. Stroc Industrie (CS: STR ) declined 5.55% or 2.35 points to end at 40.00 and Alliances (CS: ADI ) shed 3.89% or 5 points to 126.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 11 to 8 and 13 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.08% or 1.41 to $66.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.52% or 1.16 to hit $75.31 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 6.20 to trade at $1297.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 11.0680, while USD/MAD rose 0.10% to 9.5186.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.36.
