Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.13%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure , Forestry & Paper and Holding Companies sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.13%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS: DLM ), which rose 5.99% or 10.00 points to trade at 177.00 at the close. Dari Couspate SA (CS: DRI ) added 5.00% or 100 points to end at 2100 and Aluminum mar 1l (CS: ALU ) was up 4.59% or 45 points to 1025 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Timar (CS: TIM ), which lost 5.98% or 17.95 points to trade at 282.05 in late trade. Stroc Industrie (CS: STR ) declined 5.94% or 2.79 points to end at 44.21 and Risma (CS: RIS ) shed 5.23% or 5.65 points to 102.35.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 24 to 19 and 3 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.52% or 1.11 to $45.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.94% or 0.89 to hit $46.77 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.88% or 11.65 to trade at $1329.85 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.13% to 10.8980, while USD/MAD fell 0.02% to 9.7561.

The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 95.83.
