Norway shares higher at close of trade; Oslo OBX up 0.45%

Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy , Real Estate and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.45%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NWC ), which rose 7.09% or 14.00 points to trade at 205.57 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL: DNO ) added 3.73% or 0.60 points to end at 16.70 and Aker Solutions OL (OL: AKSOL ) was up 3.42% or 1.88 points to 56.92 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL: LSG ), which lost 2.93% or 2.2 points to trade at 71.6 in late trade. SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ) declined 2.40% or 10.40 points to end at 423.80 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL: NHY ) shed 1.84% or 0.84 points to 44.67.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 85 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.83% or 0.62 to $74.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.10% or 0.92 to hit $84.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.00 to trade at $1192.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.02% to 9.5088, while USD/NOK rose 0.04% to 8.2803.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 95.44.
