Norway shares lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.28%
Credit: © Reuters. – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Diversified Financials , Transport and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.28%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ), which rose 4.02% or 16.80 points to trade at 435.00 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL: BAKKA ) added 2.78% or 14.00 points to end at 517.50 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL: MHG ) was up 1.86% or 3.35 points to 183.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL: PGS ), which lost 3.87% or 1.54 points to trade at 38.26 in late trade. Subsea 7 SA (OL: SUBC ) declined 2.45% or 2.9 points to end at 113.7 and REC Silicon ASA (OL: REC ) shed 2.44% or 0.02 points to 0.80.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 64 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.85% or 1.25 to $68.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.27% or 0.92 to hit $73.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 4.80 to trade at $1222.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.16% to 9.5517, while USD/NOK rose 0.52% to 8.2221.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 94.78.
