Norway shares lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.35%
Credit: © Reuters. – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms , Commercial Service And Supplies and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.35%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ), which rose 2.58% or 9.00 points to trade at 357.80 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL: BAKKA ) added 1.26% or 5.80 points to end at 466.00 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL: LSG ) was up 1.22% or 0.7 points to 56.5 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NWC ), which lost 3.84% or 9.50 points to trade at 237.80 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL: PGS ) declined 2.91% or 1.17 points to end at 39.04 and Questerre Energy Corporation (OL: QEC ) shed 2.51% or 0.10 points to 3.88.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 97 to 74 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.35% or 0.23 to $66.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.66% or 0.50 to hit $76.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1301.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.21% to 9.4375, while USD/NOK fell 0.54% to 8.0091.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 93.59.
