Norway shares lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.38%
Credit: © Reuters. – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.38%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL: YAR ), which rose 1.78% or 6.6 points to trade at 376.5 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NWC ) added 1.55% or 3.50 points to end at 229.90 and Schibsted ASA A (OL: SBSTA ) was up 1.45% or 4.4 points to 307.4 in late trade.

Biggest losers included P/f Bakkafrost (OL: BAKKA ), which lost 7.00% or 35.00 points to trade at 465.00 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL: GSFO ) declined 3.48% or 4.30 points to end at 119.30 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL: LSG ) shed 3.47% or 2.7 points to 76.2.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 81 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.44% or 1.54 to $61.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.20% or 1.61 to hit $71.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1228.10 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.18% to 9.5569, while USD/NOK rose 0.08% to 8.3687.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 96.09.
