Norway shares lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.38%
Credit: © Reuters. – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components , Commercial Service And Supplies and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.38%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ), which rose 1.71% or 8.20 points to trade at 487.60 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL: BAKKA ) added 1.44% or 6.40 points to end at 450.40 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL: LSG ) was up 1.42% or 1.0 points to 74.4 in late trade.

Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL: REC ), which lost 5.24% or 0.04 points to trade at 0.68 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL: PGS ) declined 4.08% or 0.80 points to end at 18.70 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NWC ) shed 3.98% or 8.80 points to 212.25.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 122 to 67 and 18 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.13% or 0.07 to $52.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.37% or 0.23 to hit $61.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.05 to trade at $1242.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.45% to 9.6395, while USD/NOK fell 0.26% to 8.5067.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.980.
