Norway shares lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.20%
Credit: © Reuters. – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Transport and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.20%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ), which rose 0.58% or 1.20 points to trade at 207.50 at the close. Storebrand ASA (OL: STB ) added 0.52% or 0.30 points to end at 57.90 and Schibsted ASA B (OL: SBSTB ) was up 0.51% or 1.00 points to 197.50 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL: SDRL ), which lost 4.32% or 0.23 points to trade at 5.09 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL: AKSOL ) declined 3.73% or 1.87 points to end at 48.28 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL: PGS ) shed 3.17% or 0.64 points to 19.57.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 71 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $47.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.26% or 0.13 to hit $50.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.77 to trade at $1250.23 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.25% to 9.4146, while USD/NOK rose 0.34% to 8.6204.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 98.91.
