Norway shares lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 1.35%
Credit: © Reuters. – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Media and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.35%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL: BWLPG ), which rose 1.62% or 0.68 points to trade at 42.55 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL: SDRL ) added 0.09% or 0.01 points to end at 11.70 and Aker BP ASA (OL: AKERBP ) was down 0.28% or 0.40 points to 140.40 in late trade.

Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL: DNO ), which lost 4.31% or 0.31 points to trade at 6.88 in late trade. Storebrand ASA (OL: STB ) declined 3.13% or 1.85 points to end at 57.35 and Schibsted ASA B (OL: SBSTB ) shed 2.70% or 5.50 points to 198.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 145 to 50 and 11 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.83% or 0.40 to $47.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.00% or 0.51 to hit $50.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.55 to trade at $1249.05 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.12% to 9.1616, while USD/NOK rose 0.12% to 8.4748.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 99.42.
