Peru shares higher at close of trade; S&P Lima General up 0.19%

Investing.com – Peru equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining , Banking & Financials and Food & Beverages sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General rose 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Credicorp (LM: BAP ), which rose 0.44% or 1.00 points to trade at 230.00 at the close. Buenaventura (LM: BVN ) added 0.44% or 0.060 points to end at 13.660 and Compania Minera Milpo SAA Class I (LM: MILi ) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.000 points to 2.890 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Volcan Minera (LM: VOL_pb ), which lost 1.25% or 0.010 points to trade at 0.790 in late trade. Ferreyros (LM: FER ) unchanged 0.00% or 0.000 points to end at 2.400 and Cerro Verde (LM: CVE ) 0.00% or 0.000 points to 24.200.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 3 to 2 and 6 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.67% or 0.46 to $69.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.25% or 0.92 to hit $74.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1219.40 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.02% to 3.2687, while EUR/PEN rose 0.29% to 3.7889.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 94.99.
