Peru shares lower at close of trade; S&P Lima General down 0.20% – Peru equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the S&P Lima Juniors , Mining and Banking & Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General lost 0.20%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Minsur (LM: MINi ), which rose 5.26% or 0.100 points to trade at 2.000 at the close. Luz Del Sur (LM: LUZ ) added 3.65% or 0.440 points to end at 12.500 and Minera Irl (LM: IRL ) was unchanged 3.45% or 0.00 points to 0.09 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Cerro Verde (LM: CVE ), which lost 5.00% or 1.500 points to trade at 28.500 in late trade. Candente Copper (LM: DNT ) declined 4.05% or 0.0060 points to end at 0.1420 and Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM: POM ) shed 3.33% or 0.007 points to 0.203.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 18 to 16 and 10 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.57% or 0.30 to $52.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $58.40 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.41 to trade at $1278.71 a troy ounce.

USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2345, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.8207.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 93.53.
