Portugal shares higher at close of trade; PSI 20 up 0.56%

Investing.com – Portugal equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials , Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 rose 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the PSI 20 were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS: BCP ), which rose 2.96% or 0.0075 points to trade at 0.2608 at the close. Galp Energia Nom (LS: GALP ) added 2.32% or 0.3900 points to end at 17.1700 and Mota Engil (LS: MOTA ) was up 1.93% or 0.0400 points to 2.1150 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Navigator Company SA (LS: NVGR ), which lost 1.74% or 0.0740 points to trade at 4.1840 in late trade. Sonae SGPS SA (LS: YSO ) declined 0.67% or 0.0060 points to end at 0.8900 and Pharol SGPS SA (LS: PHRA ) shed 0.66% or 0.0012 points to 0.1808.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 14 and 5 ended unchanged on the Lisbon Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.96% or 0.77 to $81.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $72.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1205.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.21% to 1.1774, while EUR/GBP fell 0.15% to 0.8942.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 93.69.
