Portugal shares lower at close of trade; PSI 20 down 0.27%

Investing.com – Portugal equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials , Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the PSI 20 were Ibersol SGPS (LS: IBS ), which rose 1.47% or 0.150 points to trade at 10.350 at the close. Banco Comercial Portugues (LS: BCP ) added 0.38% or 0.0010 points to end at 0.2621 and Corticeira Amorim (LS: CORA ) was up 0.18% or 0.020 points to 11.160 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mota Engil (LS: MOTA ), which lost 2.50% or 0.0750 points to trade at 2.9250 in late trade. Sonae (LS: YSO ) declined 1.74% or 0.0180 points to end at 1.0140 and Pharol SGPS SA (LS: PHRA ) shed 1.03% or 0.0025 points to 0.2410.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 7 and 5 ended unchanged on the Lisbon Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.79% or 0.57 to $72.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 0.25% or 0.17 to hit $67.33 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1226.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.1656, while EUR/GBP rose 0.35% to 0.8923.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 94.76.
