Russia shares higher at close of trade; MOEX Russia up 0.58%

Investing.com – Russia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Power and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia added 0.58% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the MOEX Russia were Tatneft-3 (MCX: TATN ), which rose 4.34% or 34.00 points to trade at 818.10 at the close. NK Rosneft PAO (MCX: ROSN ) added 2.90% or 12.95 points to end at 460.00 and Tatneft OAO Pref (MCX: TATN_p ) was up 2.57% or 13.70 points to 547.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NPK OVK PAO (MCX: UWGN ), which lost 7.00% or 35.0 points to trade at 465.0 in late trade. Safmar Finansovye Investitsii PAO (MCX: SFIN ) declined 3.05% or 22.0 points to end at 699.0 and AFK Sistema (MCX: AFKS ) shed 2.27% or 0.205 points to 8.845.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 114 to 96 and 25 ended unchanged on the Moscow Stock Exchange.
The Russian VIX , which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia options, was up 2.08% to 26.470.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.16% or 1.90 to $1206.30 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $72.11 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.82% or 0.66 to trade at $81.19 a barrel.
USD/RUB was down 0.01% to 65.8398, while EUR/RUB rose 0.16% to 77.4900.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 93.69.
