Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.11%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism , Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.11% to hit a new 3-year high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE: 6060 ), which rose 9.90% or 5.00 points to trade at 55.50 at the close. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE: 6070 ) added 9.26% or 2.06 points to end at 24.30 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE: 8190 ) was up 6.33% or 0.76 points to 12.76 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8170 ), which lost 5.29% or 1.45 points to trade at 25.95 in late trade. Kingdom Holding Company (SE: 4280 ) declined 3.38% or 0.29 points to end at 8.30 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE: 7020 ) shed 3.32% or 0.60 points to 17.48.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 125 to 53 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.23% or 0.14 to hit $61.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.25 to trade at $1317.95 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.14% to 4.2733, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 95.903.
