Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.11%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food , Telecoms & IT and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.11%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AlAhli Fund of REITs (SE: 4338 ), which rose 3.81% or 0.29 points to trade at 7.90 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE: 8150 ) added 3.14% or 0.70 points to end at 23.00 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE: 6050 ) was up 2.90% or 1.90 points to 67.50 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE: 1330 ), which lost 9.98% or 0.63 points to trade at 5.68 in late trade. Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE: 2300 ) declined 2.64% or 0.34 points to end at 12.54 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE: 8190 ) shed 2.60% or 0.32 points to 11.98.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 102 to 73 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.95% or 0.51 to $54.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.35% or 0.86 to hit $64.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 7.45 to trade at $1307.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.2259, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 97.042.
