Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.12%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development , Energy & Utilities and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.12% to hit a new 3-month high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE: 4300 ), which rose 4.36% or 0.40 points to trade at 9.58 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE: 2210 ) added 3.66% or 1.00 points to end at 28.30 and Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE: 2190 ) was up 2.59% or 0.28 points to 11.08 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8311 ), which lost 5.69% or 1.24 points to trade at 20.56 in late trade. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE: 4200 ) declined 4.62% or 1.65 points to end at 34.10 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE: 8270 ) shed 4.27% or 1.25 points to 28.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 97 to 75 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.28% or 0.62 to $49.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.24% or 0.71 to hit $58.04 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 8.15 to trade at $1281.75 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 4.2915, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7515.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 95.490.
