Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.49%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism , Transport and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.49%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE: 1810 ), which rose 5.67% or 1.37 points to trade at 25.55 at the close. Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE: 2190 ) added 5.14% or 0.60 points to end at 12.28 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8120 ) was up 4.95% or 0.66 points to 13.98 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Nama Chemicals Co. (SE: 2210 ), which lost 3.13% or 0.85 points to trade at 26.30 in late trade. AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE: 4331 ) declined 1.66% or 0.22 points to end at 13.00 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8020 ) shed 1.50% or 0.18 points to 11.80.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 114 to 68 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.53% or 1.45 to $55.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.14% or 1.42 to hit $64.89 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.65% or 21.65 to trade at $1294.45 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.02% to 4.2666, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 96.382.
