Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.73%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services , Real Estate Development and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.73%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE: 8140 ), which rose 8.71% or 0.91 points to trade at 11.36 at the close. Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE: 4020 ) added 8.16% or 2.32 points to end at 30.75 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE: 7020 ) was up 4.24% or 0.76 points to 18.68 in late trade.

Biggest losers included The Saudi British Bank (SE: 1060 ), which lost 3.28% or 1.05 points to trade at 30.95 in late trade. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE: 4240 ) declined 2.67% or 0.76 points to end at 27.70 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8230 ) shed 2.62% or 1.87 points to 69.50.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 82 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.55% or 0.39 to $71.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.52% or 0.41 to hit $79.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1289.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.4261, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7508.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 93.34.
