Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.02%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services , Telecoms & IT and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.02% to hit a new 52-week high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8311 ), which rose 9.87% or 2.60 points to trade at 28.95 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ) added 5.57% or 1.18 points to end at 22.38 and BANK ALBILAD (SE: 1140 ) was up 3.39% or 0.84 points to 25.60 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE: 2030 ), which lost 4.55% or 2.20 points to trade at 46.10 in late trade. Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE: 4020 ) declined 3.35% or 0.52 points to end at 15.00 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE: 4210 ) shed 2.27% or 2.20 points to 94.80.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 69 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.50% or 1.75 to $68.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.92% or 2.20 to hit $73.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1241.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.3898, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.31.
