Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.05%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT , Agriculture & Food and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.05% to hit a new 3-year high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE: 1330 ), which rose 10.00% or 0.52 points to trade at 5.72 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ) added 9.93% or 1.38 points to end at 15.28 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8311 ) was up 9.92% or 1.30 points to 14.40 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8280 ), which lost 1.79% or 0.60 points to trade at 33.00 in late trade. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8060 ) declined 1.45% or 0.36 points to end at 24.48 and Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE: 1304 ) shed 1.03% or 0.20 points to 19.14.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 134 to 44 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.24% or 0.14 to $58.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.25% or 0.17 to hit $67.33 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1305.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 4.2561, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 95.917.
