Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.13%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities , Petrochemicals and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.13%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (SE: 4220 ), which rose 4.63% or 0.75 points to trade at 16.95 at the close. Saudi Electricity Company (SE: 5110 ) added 4.37% or 1.00 points to end at 23.90 and Anb Insurance (SE: 8011 ) was up 4.09% or 0.90 points to 22.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE: 4300 ), which lost 5.71% or 0.40 points to trade at 6.60 in late trade. Al Hammadi Co (SE: 4007 ) declined 2.64% or 1.20 points to end at 44.30 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE: 8200 ) shed 2.55% or 0.20 points to 7.65.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 72 and 29 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $48.82 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.16% or 0.08 to hit $51.60 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.57 to trade at $1253.93 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.10% to 4.0915, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 98.96.
