Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.23%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT , Insurance and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8060 ), which rose 10.00% or 0.95 points to trade at 10.45 at the close. Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE: 8012 ) added 9.84% or 3.10 points to end at 34.60 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE: 8110 ) was up 9.69% or 0.95 points to 10.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE: 8290 ), which lost 5.41% or 0.50 points to trade at 8.75 in late trade. Al Hokair Group (SE: 1820 ) declined 3.85% or 1.80 points to end at 44.90 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE: 2360 ) shed 3.47% or 3.00 points to 83.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 110 to 41 and 16 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.66% or 0.63 to $38.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.67% or 0.27 to hit $40.32 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 1.68% or 21.40 to trade at $1251.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.26% to 4.1827, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7518.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 96.23.
