Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.32%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance , Energy & Utilities and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.32%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE: 8140 ), which rose 9.50% or 0.85 points to trade at 9.80 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ) added 9.09% or 1.05 points to end at 12.60 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE: 8160 ) was up 6.73% or 0.70 points to 11.10 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE: 6070 ), which lost 3.12% or 1.00 points to trade at 31.10 in late trade. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE: 6050 ) declined 2.82% or 0.40 points to end at 13.80 and National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE: 2220 ) shed 2.66% or 0.80 points to 29.30.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 53 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.56% or 0.25 to $44.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.21% or 0.55 to hit $44.82 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.52% or 19.70 to trade at $1274.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.01% to 4.2764, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.21% at 94.03.
