Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.56%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities , Telecoms & IT and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.56%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Electricity Company (SE: 5110 ), which rose 9.86% or 1.80 points to trade at 20.05 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8230 ) added 7.96% or 1.80 points to end at 24.40 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE: 1320 ) was up 6.48% or 1.15 points to 18.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE: 4300 ), which lost 3.15% or 0.20 points to trade at 6.15 in late trade. Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE: 1214 ) declined 2.26% or 0.60 points to end at 25.90 and Emaar The Economic City (SE: 4220 ) shed 1.99% or 0.30 points to 14.80.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 94 to 43 and 32 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.13% or 0.55 to $48.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.23% or 0.62 to hit $49.73 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.42% or 5.35 to trade at $1292.25 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.49% to 4.2143, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7506.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.37% at 94.77.
