Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.98%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities , Petrochemicals and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.98%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anb Insurance (SE: 8011 ), which rose 4.98% or 1.00 points to trade at 21.10 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE: 8270 ) added 3.98% or 0.75 points to end at 19.60 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE: 5110 ) was up 3.54% or 0.65 points to 19.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Wataniya Insurance Company (SE: 8300 ), which lost 5.93% or 1.60 points to trade at 25.40 in late trade. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE: 8140 ) declined 2.00% or 0.15 points to end at 7.35 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE: 4004 ) shed 1.40% or 1.25 points to 88.25.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 127 to 24 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.49% or 0.21 to $43.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.20% or 0.09 to hit $45.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1342.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.1569, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7506.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.04% at 96.33.
