Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.22%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities , Transport and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.22%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Banque Saudi Fransi (SE: 1050 ), which rose 6.85% or 1.25 points to trade at 19.50 at the close. Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE: 2190 ) added 5.95% or 0.75 points to end at 13.35 and Fitaihi Holding Group (SE: 4180 ) was up 5.42% or 0.55 points to 10.70 in late trade.

Biggest losers included BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE: 8270 ), which lost 9.12% or 1.65 points to trade at 16.45 in late trade. Arriyadh Development Co. (SE: 4150 ) declined 3.24% or 0.60 points to end at 17.90 and Saudi Cement Company (SE: 3030 ) shed 2.88% or 1.50 points to 50.50.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 112 to 45 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.45% or 0.72 to $50.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.39% or 0.72 to hit $52.65 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.84% or 10.55 to trade at $1262.45 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.42% to 4.1842, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7514.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.34% at 96.85.
