Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.03%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Petrochemicals , Financial Services and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.03%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Petrochemical Company (SE: 2002 ), which rose 8.09% or 1.96 points to trade at 26.20 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE: 4003 ) added 6.94% or 4.37 points to end at 67.30 and Dur Hospitality (SE: 4010 ) was up 5.77% or 1.14 points to 20.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Al Rajhi Bank (SE: 1120 ), which lost 2.17% or 1.66 points to trade at 74.90 in late trade. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8060 ) declined 2.08% or 0.72 points to end at 33.85 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE: 1050 ) shed 1.81% or 0.55 points to 29.90.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 101 to 77 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.58% or 0.35 to $61.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.34% or 0.22 to hit $64.86 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.90 to trade at $1324.20 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.6405, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7509.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 89.76.
