Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.20%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food , Petrochemicals and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.20%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8050 ), which rose 9.39% or 2.43 points to trade at 28.30 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE: 4300 ) added 7.18% or 0.64 points to end at 9.55 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8230 ) was up 4.92% or 3.15 points to 67.20 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Wataniya Insurance Company (SE: 8300 ), which lost 3.95% or 1.14 points to trade at 27.75 in late trade. Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE: 6060 ) declined 3.09% or 1.48 points to end at 46.40 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE: 4040 ) shed 2.71% or 0.42 points to 15.10.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 101 to 65 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.39% or 0.25 to $64.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $69.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.13% or 15.10 to trade at $1351.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.46% to 4.6323, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7503.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 89.34.
