Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.23%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing , Telecoms & IT and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.23%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE: 1320 ), which rose 9.89% or 1.77 points to trade at 19.66 at the close. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8050 ) added 6.82% or 1.75 points to end at 27.40 and Alujain Corporation (SE: 2170 ) was up 3.87% or 0.84 points to 22.54 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE: 2360 ), which lost 2.83% or 1.51 points to trade at 51.80 in late trade. Saudi Telecom (SE: 7010 ) declined 2.39% or 1.97 points to end at 80.30 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE: 4290 ) shed 1.84% or 0.38 points to 20.32.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 74 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.27% or 0.17 to $62.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $66.17 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1311.90 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.6146, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 89.60.
