Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.25%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food , Media & Publishing and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.25%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ), which rose 9.96% or 1.62 points to trade at 17.88 at the close. The Qassim Cement Co (SE: 3040 ) added 5.96% or 2.15 points to end at 38.20 and Arabian Cement Co (SE: 3010 ) was up 5.07% or 1.08 points to 22.38 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Savola Group (SE: 2050 ), which lost 9.90% or 3.10 points to trade at 28.20 in late trade. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE: 6050 ) declined 3.93% or 0.90 points to end at 22.00 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE: 4070 ) shed 3.85% or 1.70 points to 42.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 83 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.95% or 0.59 to $62.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.29% or 0.93 to hit $73.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 9.50 to trade at $1233.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.55% to 4.3091, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7518.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 95.60.
