Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.28%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Petrochemicals , Industrial Investment and Retail sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.28%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8050 ), which rose 4.18% or 0.68 points to trade at 16.94 at the close. Saudi Chemical Company (SE: 2230 ) added 3.43% or 1.10 points to end at 33.20 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE: 8200 ) was up 3.04% or 0.24 points to 8.14 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ), which lost 5.08% or 1.02 points to trade at 19.04 in late trade. Yanbu Cement Co. (SE: 3060 ) declined 3.45% or 1.00 points to end at 28.00 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE: 3050 ) shed 3.14% or 1.35 points to 41.65.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 104 to 77 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.31% or 0.19 to hit $61.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 12.40 to trade at $1322.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.10% to 4.3087, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 95.032.
