Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.31%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate Development , Insurance and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.31%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE: 2030 ), which rose 9.94% or 4.35 points to trade at 48.10 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE: 4003 ) added 4.10% or 2.40 points to end at 61.00 and Saudi Ground Services Co (SE: 4031 ) was up 4.05% or 1.45 points to 37.25 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ), which lost 2.98% or 0.66 points to trade at 21.50 in late trade. National Com Bnk (SE: 1180 ) declined 2.27% or 1.10 points to end at 47.35 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE: 2200 ) shed 2.26% or 0.28 points to 12.10.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 97 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.53% or 0.37 to $70.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.06% or 0.78 to hit $74.18 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1246.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.3802, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7509.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 94.50.
