Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Multi Investment and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 9.99% or 2.22 points to trade at 24.44 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 5.50% or 3.21 points to end at 61.60 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) was up 4.41% or 1.21 points to 28.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which lost 3.42% or 0.53 points to trade at 14.96 in late trade. Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) declined 2.28% or 1.49 points to end at 64.00 and National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) shed 1.97% or 0.66 points to 32.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 109 to 64 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.28% or 0.14 to $50.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.70% or 0.39 to hit $56.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.66 to trade at $1277.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.3964, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7497.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 93.63.
