Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.51%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance , Agriculture & Food and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.51%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE: 7040 ), which rose 7.25% or 0.500 points to trade at 7.400 at the close. Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE: 7030 ) added 3.86% or 0.26 points to end at 7.00 and Emaar The Economic City (SE: 4220 ) was up 3.83% or 0.51 points to 13.84 in late trade.

Biggest losers included The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE: 8030 ), which lost 6.46% or 1.90 points to trade at 27.50 in late trade. Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE: 4100 ) declined 3.85% or 3.37 points to end at 84.10 and Najran Cement Company (SE: 3002 ) shed 3.33% or 0.32 points to 9.30.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 121 to 55 and 2 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $57.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.43% or 0.27 to hit $62.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 10.10 to trade at $1267.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 4.4369, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 93.32.
