Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.52%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities , Real Estate Development and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.52%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8311 ), which rose 9.94% or 2.04 points to trade at 22.56 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE: 8190 ) added 9.89% or 1.28 points to end at 14.22 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE: 8140 ) was up 8.65% or 0.96 points to 12.06 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8230 ), which lost 3.51% or 2.30 points to trade at 63.20 in late trade. Saudi Electricity Company (SE: 5110 ) declined 2.68% or 0.58 points to end at 21.10 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE: 4300 ) shed 2.43% or 0.26 points to 10.42.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 101 to 73 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.53% or 0.36 to $68.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.68% or 0.51 to hit $75.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.85% or 10.80 to trade at $1258.10 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.30% to 4.3755, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.19.
