Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.30%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food , Telecoms & IT and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.30%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE: 2300 ), which rose 4.79% or 0.56 points to trade at 12.26 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE: 8030 ) added 3.82% or 0.54 points to end at 14.66 and Astra Industrial Group (SE: 1212 ) was up 1.83% or 0.32 points to 17.84 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Alujain Corporation (SE: 2170 ), which lost 8.42% or 2.45 points to trade at 26.65 in late trade. Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE: 2250 ) declined 4.67% or 1.25 points to end at 25.50 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE: 8040 ) shed 4.57% or 1.15 points to 24.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 156 to 19 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.05% or 0.04 to $74.29 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.65% or 0.55 to hit $84.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.10 to trade at $1206.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.3215, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7511.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 95.31.
