Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.39%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financial Services , Agriculture & Food and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.39% to hit a new 1-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE: 2360 ), which rose 9.97% or 4.65 points to trade at 51.30 at the close. Halwani Bros (SE: 6001 ) added 6.71% or 3.23 points to end at 51.40 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE: 8140 ) was up 3.09% or 0.39 points to 13.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included The Saudi British Bank (SE: 1060 ), which lost 3.61% or 1.00 points to trade at 26.70 in late trade. The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE: 8010 ) declined 3.46% or 3.30 points to end at 92.10 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE: 1050 ) shed 3.42% or 1.08 points to 30.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 139 to 31 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.11% or 0.56 to $51.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.26% or 0.71 to hit $57.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.69 to trade at $1295.81 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.58% to 4.4557, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 92.28.
