Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.59%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Petrochemicals , Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.59% to hit a new 6-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE: 7030 ), which rose 9.14% or 0.54 points to trade at 6.45 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8120 ) added 5.49% or 0.74 points to end at 14.22 and Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE: 4020 ) was up 4.10% or 0.58 points to 14.74 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE: 2350 ), which lost 8.39% or 1.38 points to trade at 15.06 in late trade. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE: 8030 ) declined 7.29% or 1.08 points to end at 13.74 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE: 2300 ) shed 6.49% or 0.84 points to 12.10.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 141 to 33 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $68.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $78.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 9.90 to trade at $1198.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.58% to 4.3593, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7508.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 94.50.
