Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.01%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Transport , Industrial Investment and Retail sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.01%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE: 2080 ), which rose 5.47% or 1.40 points to trade at 27.00 at the close. Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE: 2180 ) added 4.42% or 1.90 points to end at 44.90 and Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE: 2290 ) was up 2.72% or 1.10 points to 41.60 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ), which lost 5.20% or 0.45 points to trade at 8.20 in late trade. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8100 ) declined 4.28% or 0.70 points to end at 15.65 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE: 8150 ) shed 3.03% or 0.45 points to 14.40.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 104 to 46 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.09% or 1.04 to $48.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.07% or 1.06 to hit $50.26 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.38% or 5.05 to trade at $1321.85 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 4.1627, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.86.
