Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.09%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities , Hotels & Tourism and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.09%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Pipes Company (SE: 2200 ), which rose 9.95% or 1.00 points to trade at 11.05 at the close. Arriyadh Development Co. (SE: 4150 ) added 6.16% or 1.10 points to end at 18.95 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8311 ) was up 3.06% or 0.35 points to 11.80 in late trade.

Biggest losers included United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE: 8190 ), which lost 7.73% or 0.85 points to trade at 10.15 in late trade. Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE: 1810 ) declined 2.38% or 0.90 points to end at 36.90 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE: 5110 ) shed 2.27% or 0.45 points to 19.35.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 73 to 61 and 35 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.60% or 0.80 to $49.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.84% or 0.93 to hit $49.72 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.15% or 14.85 to trade at $1277.25 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.24% to 4.2318, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7503.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.21% at 93.88.
