Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.26%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance , Transport and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.26%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE: 8190 ), which rose 6.29% or 0.90 points to trade at 15.20 at the close. Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8260 ) added 4.97% or 0.80 points to end at 16.90 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE: 7040 ) was up 3.95% or 0.150 points to 3.950 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE: 4110 ), which lost 4.38% or 2.75 points to trade at 60.00 in late trade. Northern Region Cement Co (SE: 3004 ) declined 3.17% or 0.40 points to end at 12.20 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE: 8210 ) shed 3.02% or 4.00 points to 128.25.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 87 to 50 and 32 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.26% or 0.56 to $45.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.11% or 0.52 to hit $47.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1343.25 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.1907, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.

The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 95.62.
